Andrew Is Happy, So We Are Happy

Being with our grandson Andrew is awesome.  He was our first grandchild and we loved spending time with him as a little kid.  We spent countless weekends with him aboard our boat.  Anytime Terri needed a weekend alone I would call Tamra and ask if I could borrow a grandson for the weekend.  She never said NO, so he and I were always off for a guys weekend.

He's a sophomore at Kettering University and we are here in Flint, Michigan enjoying seeing him.

Jessica is an electrical engineering major and Andrew is a mechanical engineering major.  Andrew and Jessica each just finished 3 month internships at different companies here in Michigan.  They start back at school on Monday morning.  The University has relationships with several hundred companies that support this school and students rotate between the internships and university every 3 months.  No Summers off, it's 4 straight years of school.

Andrew made the Deans List during his first year and is loving school.  He is now in an engineering fraternity so it is wall to wall geeks and computers everywhere.  We met several of his friends yesterday, a smart bunch of guys.

Andrew seems very content with his choice for schooling and Kettering is a great choice if you want to work hard.  He's working hard and is happy.

Life is good..... when your eldest grandkid is happy and doing well.
