Steps everywhere in this village. Easily 1000 steps around this small village. |
The hillsides are lined with stone walled vineyards and fruit trees. Lemons, apricots, plums, cherries and several others fruits are in season right now.
Terri is happy because it is warm and the sun is shining. It is the first day she has been in her sun dress. It feels good to have the Italian sun shining on your back.
This is a panorama looking back at the village on one of our walks. |
We celebrated my 65th birthday tonight with this outdoor dinner. We weren't fully sure what we were eating but it was good. Birthday cake was substituted with gelato.
As always...life is good.
That staircase is one of the scariest things I've seen in my life! Glad it didn't prevent an adventurous & beautiful birthday!

ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome way to spend your birthday! Wishing you many many more . . .
