Bluegrass

The opening act was straight old school bluegrass.
Today was all Bluegrass music....6 hours.....in the sun.
Second duo were very talented Americana/Bluegrass.
The headline group was "Grascals".  They played a modern version of Bluegrass and have won several Grammy's over the last decade.  They play back-up to a big list of country singers.  Check out their website.
Grascals.
Fiddle, Mandolin, 2 Guitars, Stand-Up Bass and a Banjo.

It was a good day of outdoor music.  It was hot and sunny as my sunburn will prove.  Terri says it's time to take a break from bluegrass music so we will be moving up the Blue Ridge Parkway to a national park called Peaks of Otter in the morning.

Feet and nose out the window, Eva is ready to travel the Crooked Road.
And for daughter Trinity.....more wild Day Lillys
An early morning paddle on Philpott Lake.
3,000 acre lake, I only saw a tiny portion.
That's it for today.  I'm tired from to much sun.  Life is good in the sun.
