British Columbia, Canada

The flags in front of Harrison Hot Springs.
I haven't written anything for a long time because I'm a lazy bum.  We've been busy having fun in Maple Ridge, BC with our friends Jim and Marie.  They live in the same condo as us in Mazatlán and had just arrived back in British Columbia a few days before we showed up to spend eight days visiting with them.

Heading from Port Moody to downtown Vancouver.
We got to know Jim and Marie's family while we were there.  Their son Steven took us to Vancouver via the water on his boat.  It was a warm day of site seeing with their two grandsons along.  We spent the 8 days parked alongside their daughters home in Maple Ridge.  We enjoyed all our time with their great extended family.

We had a great time in BC.

To prove that I haven't been a totally lazy bum I did recover six valances with new material during the last week.  We went with a nice beige linen with a dark brown for the cap.  It's amazing what can be done at the kitchen table.

New on the left, old on the right.
We are back in Tacoma for a few days and than are headed to Gorst so that I can have some quiet time to replace the carpeting in the RV with a combination of hardwood and new carpet.  This project has been on my "to do" list for a long time.  We've got the new carpet on order and I went to pick-up the hardwood today.  Let the demolition begin.

It's been a good two weeks.  Maybe I'll write more often.  Life is good.
