We're On A Roll

We haven't been sitting around.  We've both got the "fix it" bug.  So long as we are sitting in Gorst waiting for our trip to Maui to begin on the 20th of July, we've jumped into several home (RV) projects.  The wood flooring was completed today.

Steps, drivers area, kitchen, and bathroom now have new wood floors.  Aside from sore knees the whole project went without a problem.  I did drop a board on my toe so I have a very black and blue toe.  It's a guy thing, no project is done until you bleed a little.

Terri got into the action by sewing and painting. She sewed two new pillows and than decided it was time to paint the bedroom.  First she painted the walls a light ivory, but when she was done we both agreed that it was boring.  The next painting was done in a paint called "cinnamon and sugar".  The rich brown tone was right on the mark.

Next I jumped back into reupholstering the last two valances.  That will finish that project and remove the last of the old floral design fabric from the motorhome.  I won't miss it at all.

As usual Eva jumped right in to help.  She tested the new pillows.  Yes, they are worthy of napping on.  We'll do anything to please the Mexican mutt.  Life is good in the Ranger's home.

Note:  We are awaiting the arrival of the new carpeting from the East Coast, than the project can resume.
