A "PJ" Day

What do you do when a storm blows in and you live in a motorhome?  Hunker down and bake. 

The morning started with fresh hot baked cinnamon rolls with icing. We washed them down with ice cold milk and we're both happy campers.  That was a good start for the morning as the thunder and lightning began.  A portion of the storm front must have passed right over us.  The thunder almost rolled me out of my chair.  Eva didn't like it at all.

After my morning nap I got up and continued cooking.  Lunch was hot open faced turkey sandwiches covered with turkey gravy.  Perfect for a cold wet day.  After eating it was Terri's turn for a nap.  She had planned carefully and had not changed out of her PJ's.  She was ready.

We spent most of the day reading and watching the rain come down in buckets.

When it was time for dinner I felt like having breakfast so I made pancakes for us.  The rain has stopped but it is still blowing out there.  Other than dog walks we have not left the RV today.

So long as I'm on a roll I just put a batch of brownies in the oven.  In 50 minutes the whole RV will smell great and our bedtime snack will be cooling on the countertop. 

Hot brownies.....Life IS good.

And speaking of bedtime, Terri is still ready, she never changed out of her PJ's all day.

The rain has stopped this evening......Sunshine and wind now.

Life is good.... in a lazy kind of way.
