Genova - A Fine City

We have been enjoying Genova/Genoa the last few days.  We walked 5.5 miles yesterday as we wandered the city.  You can get a kink in your neck from consistently looking up at the amazing architecture. Along one street they have 42 UNESCO World Heritage buildings.

This church has dozens of painting by Rubens.  Lots of pudgy little angels.

Maybe I can sign on as crew on Christopher Columbus' next cruise to America.  He was from the city of Genoa.

Here are a few photos of the home we are staying at through AirBnB.  It is definitely on the nice side of accommodations for us.  A little luxury for the travelers.

The ceiling in our room as I lay in bed looking up.

A nice soaking tub for Terri.
OK so you might want to know how expensive it is to have this level of luxury?  Mr. Big Spender booked this AirBnB for $45.00 US per night.  Our host Edel also makes you espresso if you like each morning.

It's a good life for the Rangers.

I love the designs in the marble floors
Life is a bowl of cherries (at a street vendor in downtown Genova square).
