Lake Front and Bonus River Front

We crossed over another state line today.  We enjoyed North Carolina for the last 18 days and today around noon we went over the Virginia state line.  We will be spending the next week at two different campgrounds on Philpott Lake.  Both are COE (Corps of Engineers) campgrounds, we have become big fans of COE.  For the next 3 nights we are at Goose Point Park.  This is another wonderful waterfront campground that compares well with the best we have seen this year.  This is a "10".

Adding the Virginia sticker to our map.  18 down and more to come.
Here are two panorama shots of our campsite.  My new camera is great, hold the button down and spin counter clock wise and it combines 5 shots into one wide angle photo.

Our view out the front door looking at the Philpott Lake.
Looking back from the lake.  Yes, that's Terri resting in her zero gravity chair.
Turkey sandwiches for lunch.  Eva hoping for scraps.
Our waterdog.
It was a warm afternoon reaching 89 degrees.  After we got camp all set-up we took Eva for a walk.  When we reached the edge of the lake she made a dash for the water.  I guess she was warm or wanted to learn to swim.  I think she is smiling.

As I write we are having a thunder shower.  It's 86 and pouring down rain.  The thunder and lightening has Eva spooked.  When it rains here it comes down in buckets.  Think I'll pause and shoot a few photos of warm rain.

We now have riverfront property.
Our new yard banner is getting soaked.  "Keep Calm & Flip On"
Terri wants me to tell everyone that she doesn't like rain.....warm or cold.

Life is good......Free car and RV wash....Cool.
